Sales Pages

Click the links to the left to see Gypsy Horses for sale, Gyspy Horses at stud, and Gypsy Crosses & Drums in the GHA's Gypsy Heritage Division offered for sale by our members.

To list a horse on these sales pages, or to remove a horse that has been sold,
contact Mary Graybeal, at newsletter@gypsyhorseassociation.org

Please include the following information (if foal is being sold in-utero, only include pertinent info):

Name     Registered and/or barn name

Breed(s)     Include this field if horse is in the GHA's Gypsy Heritage Division. Specify Drum Horse, or if horse is a Gypsy Cross,
                     define the breed(s) in the cross (i.e. Gypsy/Friesian, or 50% Gypsy/25% Paint/25% TWH, etc.)

DOB     May include exact date if known, or year only if unknown (due date if in-utero)

Sex     Mare, Filly, Stallion, Colt, Gelding

Color     Piebald, Skewbald, Blagdon, Other (include color possiblities, if known, for in-utero foals)

Sire     May include link to webpage with photos of sire, if available

Dam     May include link to webpage with photos of dam, if available

Height     For young horses, include expected height at maturity

Price     Please include price if at all possible. You may also state if you accept payments, etc

Contact info     Include email address & link to website if available

Notes:     Include any info regarding training, any anything else you would like potential buyers to
                 know.

Photo(s)**:     Right and/or left conformation shots, then anything else you choose.
Higher-resolution is better. (Photos of sire & dam if in-utero)

**Hints for taking better photos: Take photos either in the morning/evening on a sunny day with the sun to your back (i.e. shining directly at the horse). Squat down and take the photo from a low/level angle to the horse's body. Have someone with you to shake a plastic bag or make other noise to get your horse's attention and help capture a more alert look.

• SALES BOOK •

As a service to our members, we also maintain a Sales Book which is prominently displayed in GHA's booth at the Equine Affaires and at any other event at which GHA has a formal presence. Registered horses for sale, registered stallions standing at stud, or offspring of two registered horses can be included in the Sales Book.

___________________

There is a nominal charge of $10/horse, and sample pages of the book are available upon request.

Where the Sales Book is displayed, GHA also has available a handout which shows information about all horses included in the Sales Book and contact information for owners. At the 2008 Massachusetts Equine Affaire, prospective buyers took over 200 of
these handouts!

Deadlines to get your information to Mary for 2009's Events are as follows:

• Columbus Equine Affaire -- March 15, 2009
